Free Rail Safety Presentation For Students

Operation Lifesaver is a nonprofit education program that seeks to reduce crashes, fatalities and injuries on or around railroad tracks.  ACE has certified Operation Lifesaver presenters who teach the importance of safety around railroad tracks.  The presentations are fun, informative and are great for any school group.  If you are a parent who would like to have an Operation Lifesaver presentation at your child’s school or if you are a teacher and you want us to come to your school please send us an email.  Presentations can be done for students from elementary school to high school.  The best part is that it is all FREE!  Please take advantage of this valuable presentation about railroad safety.

We could use this type of presentation at our school. We have a track very close by and kids are always 'playing chicken' or whatever on it. Someone will get hurt someday. I will pass this along.

Safety is so essential it is good that you are offering these classes. The best way to treat an injury is to avoid it from ever happening.

That is so true, A few years back there was an influx of train derails and accidents that probably could have been avoided had they had this training and were paying attention.

There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game.
